THIS DAY OR TODAY
a dream called "panamericana"
“I was a little boy attending a history lesson when my teacher started explaining the Beringia Strait theory. It was a mind-blowing lesson and the beginning of my daydreaming fantasies about the route that starts in the Beringia Strait (Alaska) and ends up down in the land of the giant men of Tierra del Fuego.
The phrase: “one day I will do the Panamericana” started to become more common after my late 20s, but never really looked into it, because that dream seemed too far and really expensive. Then, I started backpacking the world for a couple of years, and I realized that money is important but more important is to pursuit our own dreams and aspirations. If it’s figurative true that faith moves mountains, it’s simply true that the energy that any person has, “conspire” positively when we want to reach impossible goals. That mirage called “Panamericana” became tangible when my favorite person ask me an easy question at the right time: “why you don’t do it instead of saying ONE DAY?”. I was in my mid-30s with no excuses whatsoever and a big smile as an answer.
Never stop the child inside you
Avoid people that discourage you and bring you nothing but negative energy.
We are in this world to write our own destiny!
